Auction Profit
As soon as
Ebay took off there were lots of places promising to increase
your auction profit, make you a millionaire, etc. Ebay is an
excellent tool for selling but it's not all roses as inferred on TV
commercials
and auction web sites. Firstly, you are able to reach many people on
auctions,
however, Ebay shoppers are similar to the first people at a garage
sale,
the bargain hunters.
To make a
good auction profit, you need to research auctions already
closed for similar items. If the items are selling far below
their value, forget it. Any auction profit program
promising you a specific, outrageous dollar amount like $20,000.00
an auction, then you should run away quickly!
Anyone
promising you huge auction profits, has to show you
products you can buy or have drop shipped costing a lot less
than what that item's retail at Wal-Mart. Nobody will order anything,
pay the shipping then risk that it may not be shipped
at all when it's possible to go to a discount store and get it
for the same price.
It is best
to find a dependable drop ship company selling at a significant
discount as well as possibly offering more discounts if more of their
products are sold once business picks up. It is important to research
the
products, suppliers and selling prices before jumping into an
auction profit program; because they often have their own interests at
stake, not
yours. A small product you can buy and inventory may make more of a
profit, however, some items are bulky and may not be practical to
inventory.
Some items
will turn a good auction profit. For example,
unlocked cell phones that may be used on any carrier with
their SIM card. Buying these at wholesale and unlocking
them yourself, will give you a product that can't be bought locally
because
cell phone carriers only sell phones that must be used on their own
network.
