There is a software program designed to increase traffic to a website called Auto Hits Machine. A lot of people are concerned about the legality of Auto Hits Machine and whether or not it actually is effective.

The way Auto Hits Machine is supposed to work is automatically placing newsletters, text ads, banners and e-zine ads in a giant database thus bringing a large number of hits to a site. What many people who have tried Auto Hits Machine found was that while it was very effective in the beginning in a very short period of time it stopped working as well as it used to. I called the company to ask if they were working on improving it, but I haven't heard back yet. I'll post any news I find out about the company and updates on this page as they come in.

It's true that most of us are always looking for anything to make our job easier, but in this case, it may be the old, proven methods that work best. At least, that is my opinion. At this point, I'm not recommending Auto Hits Machine unless I hear directly from the company that they're planning an upgrade to Auto Hits Machine.
