Chris Gross



Chris Gross is the Founding President of Element River, LLC. This is a Flex and RIA consulting and product company. Before building the Element River, He worked at IBM for 4 years where he managed UI Platforms and Frameworks for Infosphere suite of products. Chris Gross is also important and has played a very essential part to the open source community. Because of his expertise with Eclipse RCP and Eclipse SWT, he was led to build the Eclipse Nebula project. Chris, being the founder and project leader of Nebula, have ushered a custom componentry for Eclipse. Now, Chris Gross is known in providing the same level of expertise and passion to Adobe Flash.
Chris Gross is an architect and a developer as well who has been working for more than ten years which caused plenty of award winning soft ware products. Chris always want to produce a good software depending on the customer’s needs and making sure that it would be easy to use.

When he was still working at IBM, Chris was managing UI Platforms and Frameworks for the infosphere products. He had also influenced IBMs interface user strategy because of his participation on the group. Before IBM, he was working at Chesapeake System Solution where he led their multiple product lines through the generations of technology.
