Cookie Lee Inc was founded by Cookie Lee in 1992 and is a company marketing fashion jewelry which is presented to customers through home shows, office shows, fundraisers and the efforts of independent consultants.

The only way to view a Cookie Lee catalog or purchase the products offered, you must contact an independent Cookie Lee Consultant. So obviously there is a business opportunity offered through Cookie Lee. Since Cookie Lee products are mostly sold through home shows, you can agree to host a party for your local consultant thus giving you the opportunity to earn free jewelry and get 50% off the items of your choice. The other alternative is to become a Cookie Lee Independent Consultant which will is supposed to allow you to begin your own home based business with full support from the Cookie Lee Inc staff.

The only major complaints I found were in regards to the quality of the jewelry being sold. One individual claimed that the 2 pieces she bought were not at all the same as what was pictured in the catalog and both broke, she went on to say that the she was not given a refund or offered a replacement when she informed first the consultant who sold it to her and then the Cookie Lee company directly.

My opinion, is that this type of business can be a little bit of a risk just for the very reason that people are buying products from a catalog instead of seeing them physically. However, that aside, the opportunity offered by Cookie Lee, Inc. appears to be similar to the many others out there.
