Ed ShullEd Shull has been involved in internet marketing for more than eight years and is the CEO of USWeb, an internet consultancy. Ed Shull has also found himself featured in periodicals like The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and Newsweek. Ed Shull's internet consultancy, USWeb offers services designed to help increase customer loyalty, market share, profit and revenue through the use of various strategies and system. One of the strategies promoted by Ed Shull through USWeb, is to pay someone
to write a favorable review of a particular company on their blog. A report
from one person is that he found a post for this opportunity and intrigued,
responded to it. He claims Ed Shull contacted him back with the name of a
particular business that he was to mention and provide a good review of on his
blog in return for a payment of $5 through PayPal. Ed Shull provided a response
to this particular accusation stating that this is a self-regulated practice and
in his mind is the same as paid endorsements for athletes and that USWeb tries
to always remain ethical. I like his style, but I'm still not recommending him. I'm
currently testing his marketing materials and I'll post a complete report of my
investigation of USWeb and Ed Shull right here in the next few weeks.
