NuSkin
As far as I know, NuSkin requires a $35 initial membership fee and a annual renewal fee of $20. Here’s one little thing I didn’t like about the NuSkin distributor policy: It appears NuSkin has told all of their “distributors” to not mention the NuSkin name in any advertising or even on business cards that may be distributed in masses.
I think the reason is because many people get turned off just by hearing/reading the name of the MLM’s. Each of us invariably has been “approached” by an MLM person and more often than not the experience was not a good one.
NuSkin has also had some dealings with the FTC and the court system in general that have turned me off to joining. NuSkin also got some negative publicity in national magazines and newspapers. NuSkin may have cleaned up its act since then…that’s something I can’t tell you. Speaking only for myself, I’d prefer to get involved with a company that had no problems from the get-go.
I also don’t like their quotas and demands they put on their distributors.
Nuskin requires a large personal volume to qualify for commissions. If you don’t meet that volume, you don’t qualify. You’ll also probably have to buy inventory to keep in stock and you’ll probably have to try to collect money owed by customers yourself.
