Robert Kiyosaki
The only
think I didn't like about "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" is that Mr. Kiyosaki
talks about Real Estate investing a little too often so I guess I just
shouldn't have read it since I'm not interested in Real Estate
Investing. But I wanted to be able to share my thoughts on his book.
Although he doesn't just come right out and say it, investing in real
estate must be how Robert Kiyosaki made all his money.
Robert is
one of my favorite authors on the subject of real estate finances.
Kiyosaki's
concepts about what money means and money is has to be the best
financial information I have ever seen. In his book Robert talks about
his poor dad which is his biological father and his rich dad which is
his friend's dad.
Robert's
"poor dad" always taught him to get an education, save his money, and
other well known concepts that we hear all the time. His "rich dad"
always drove nice cars, had nice clothes, and lived above his means (in
debt).
On the
flipside, Robert Kiyosaki's "rich dad" taught him to invest in
knowledge and on assets (things that generate income). His "rich dad"
owned several small business's and drove modest vehicles while he kept
getting richer.
A lot of
home business opportunities like to use Mr. Kiyosaki's material when
recruiting or training their down-line. I think Robert has really
reached out all entrepreneurs in general, no matter what their field
is.
Roberts
book, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" has had tremendous success and quite an
impact on the general public.
You
couldn't go wrong following the concepts taught in Robert Kiyosaki's
course, and I recommend his teachings on real estate investing.
You have to
remember that there is more than one way to skin a cat! Real Estate is
not what it used to be. I am not saying that there is not a lot of
money in it, but the competition is really more than I care to deal
with.
I'm
definitely suggesting you go out and read something by Robert Kiyosaki
immediately.
