SaleHoo is advertised as the leading directory of wholesale distributors and suppliers. SaleHoo claims their database reflects the work of several years searching for reliable wholesaler suppliers and drop shippers.

SaleHoo provides a connection to suppliers around the world and also states they can provide information and tips on starting a successful home business marketing consumer goods, through avenues like eBay, small independent stalls or even those with a retail store. The SaleHoo suppliers provide products in a variety of categories including jewelry, clothing, computers and electronics, shoes and fashion and much more with each of the categories featuring name brands.

Membership to the SaleHoo database is a one time fee of up to $99.95 and entitles you to a lifetime membership that includes access to a database of suppliers from around the world like Australia, the UK and China, all updates to the system and a members forum.

It is free to become a SaleHoo affiliate earning commissions of 75% for each sale referred. SaleHoo states there are over 30 different sale pages to direct traffic to and banners and advertisements are provided at no charge. SaleHoo also offers email affiliate support with the promise of quick response times.

There are mixed opinions about SaleHoo and whether it is for real or not. Several people who are members state they have ordered products from various suppliers and received the products exactly as promised. There are other members who claim they have waited for months and never gotten the products they ordered, have encountered less than quality suppliers and had difficulty getting refunds when requested. There's also a buzz on the net that Simon Slade, the director of SaleHoo is a very fishy character.
